Deidre Griffith is a public health leader with more than 25 years of experience advancing community health, health equity, and systems-level strategies to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations. As Vice President of Community Health Improvement at BJC Health System, she leads initiatives that strengthen hospital-community partnerships, address social determinants of health, and improve health outcomes across the St. Louis region and beyond. Her work centers on designing and implementing community-based strategies that reduce health disparities and improve access to care for underserved communities.

Throughout her career, Griffith has built strong cross-sector partnerships among healthcare systems, community organizations, and public health agencies to address systemic barriers to health. Her leadership has helped shape innovative approaches to community benefit programming, health equity investment, and regional health improvement planning. In recognition of her contributions to public health leadership and community engagement, she received the Saint Louis University Alumni Merit Award. Griffith brings practical expertise on how health systems can translate community health commitments into measurable and lasting impact.
