Nancy Zuech Lim is the Director of Community Health Improvement at the Catholic Health Association, where she leads national efforts in community benefit, community health improvement, social determinants of health, and nonprofit hospital tax exemption policy. In this role, she works closely with health systems across the country to strengthen community health strategies, improve reporting frameworks, and align hospital community benefit activities with broader public health goals. Nancy brings a multidisciplinary background spanning clinical nursing, public accounting, hospital quality improvement, and public policy, giving her a uniquely comprehensive perspective on healthcare accountability and community investment. Prior to joining CHA, she held leadership roles across healthcare and policy settings, focusing on quality improvement, program management, and systems alignment. Her work centers on advancing the role of nonprofit hospitals as anchor institutions that address health inequities and improve community well-being, making her expertise especially relevant to discussions on hospital accountability and tax-exempt community obligations
